TOKYU Garden City

Project Overview

TOKYU Garden City is well located in Binh Duong New City spanning more than 110 hectares. The project broke ground in March 2012 with an initial investment of approximately $1.2 billion USD. Once completed, it will consist of over 7,500 apartment units, residential townhouses, commercial areas, and office spaces. TOKYU Garden City is a Japanese-style urban area with inspiration from Tokyu Tama Den-en Toshi in Japan. Launched in 1953, Tokyu Tama Den-en Toshi has an area of 5,000 hectares located in the suburb of Tokyo with Tokyu Corporation being the main developer. Over the course of 60 years, Tokyu Tama Den-en Toshi has transform into a modern urban area with over 600,000 residents, and is one of the most sought after urban area in Japan.

TOKYU Garden City is in close proximity to Thu Dau Mot (10 km) and Ho Chi Minh City (30 km). In addition, TOKYU Garden City is also surrounded by major employment hubs such VSIP II, Maple Tree, and My Phuoc Industrial Parks which are home to major foreign and local manufacturing companies.

Binh Duong New City is currently expanding with new developments in education, sports and recreational areas, and commercial center. In addition, the government of Binh Duong Province has relocated its municipality to the newly built Administration Center in the heart of Binh Duong New City which includes offices for the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Committee, and People’s Council in Binh Duong Province. As such, the population of Binh Duong New City is growing rapidly as more and more residents relocate to the area in search of a more peaceful way of life.

Project Scope:

TOKYU Garden City is divided into three major urban areas: SORA gardens, hikari, and MIDORI PARK. SORA gardens is located at the entrance of Binh Duong New City and was the first project developed by Becamex Tokyu in Binh Duong New City. hikari is well located in the heart Binh Duong New City and is the first commercial development by Becamex Tokyu. hiraki is currently undergoing an expansion and will provide additional commercial space for new tenants looking to enter Binh Duong New City. MIDORI PARK is the largest of the 3 developments as it spans over 60 hectares. Once completed, MIDORI PARK will be primary source of housing for Binh Duong New City comprising of both low and high rise development.
