FamilyMart at SORA gardens opens 24hours/day from 1st March 2017 to provide a better service to the customer.

This convenience store was openned on 8th May 2015, aims to become an essential part of community and now is favorite place that provides everyday items for residents in Binh Duong New City. It is always in Top 10 nationwide convenience store by sales revenues.

There are total 125 stores from first established in 2009 up to February 2017 (mainly in Ho Chi Minh City). The first FamilyMart conveniece store first established in 2009 and has expanded to 125 stores around Vietnam now.

Currently, FamilyMart have 2 stores in Binh Duong New City, one is at hikari and one is at SORA gardens.

On 11st January 2017, Department of of Transportation Binh Duong province held a conference to summarize the 2016 and business plan for 2017 at Conference Hall of Thanh Le Park, Thu Dau Mot City. Attending the meeting, there were Mr Tran Thanh Liem – Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and leaders of transportation companies.

On 26th November 2016, Becamex Tokyu Co.Ltd held sale event for terrace houses of MIDORI PARK in Binh Duong New City.

The event was attended by many customers and many contracts of sale was signed.

Becamex Tokyu celebrated the much anticipated grand opening of hikari on January 6, 2015, its first commercial multiplex developed in Binh Duong New City. Located behind the Integrated Administrative Centre in Binh Duong New City, hikari is comprised of The Sushi Bar, one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most highly rated Japanese restaurants, the Family Mart convenience store complex, and an eclectic Food Court (produced by Axiis Japan and Long Monaco Vietnam).

The kick-off ceremony welcomed over 120 guests, including Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, the Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee, as well as Vietnamese and Japanese dignitaries from Binh Duong Province and Thu Dau Mot City.

Guests enjoyed an appetizing post-ceremony buffet as more than 500 inaugural customers celebrated the official launch of hikari.

On this coming Saturday, October 25th 2014, at SORA gardens Sales Gallery, Becamex Tokyu will hold an event to where customers could find out more about Japan and the Tokyu Corporation.

On 20th September 2014 (Saturday), BECAMEX TOKYU BUS, a subsidiary of BECAMEX TOKYU Joint Venture, will start provisional operation of the “KAZE SHUTTLE” bus in Binh Duong Province.

Currently, the Integrated Administration Center of Binh Duong has started operating at Binh Duong New City, which has become the new capital of the Province.

KAZE SHUTTLE bus  connects Thu Dau Mot City and Binh Duong New City. It will be a new means of transport for government workers who work at the Administration Center and will also respond to the transportation needs of
the residents in Binh Duong New City.

Along with utilizing the Japanese know-how such as running a punctual timetable, serving customers well, and providing education about safe driving…, BECAMEX TOKYU BUS provides a new bus system that uses compressed natural
gas (CNG), which is good for the environment.

The bus is called “KAZE SHUTTLE”. “Kaze” means the wind in Japanese, so it represents a breeze passing through the New City. In collaboration with the condominium
project “SORA gardens” (in Japanese, “Sora” means the sky), we hope that Vietnamese people can feel the Japanese features of style, way of living, beauty in the built environment through BECAMEX TOKYU’s projects.
※ Kaze bus will run free of charge from the date of 20.09.2014 (Saturday) to 30/09/2014 (Tuesday).
※ Currently, a part of the road is under construction, thus we will temporally run a detour route.

After nearly one and a half years, the project “SORA gardens I” has officially completed construction of the building frame as scheduled.

On June 6^th 2013, the topping out ceremony of “SORA gardens I” was performed by the developer of the project (Becamex Tokyu) and the main contractor (Hoa Binh Corporation).

On 20th February 2014, at the Inauguration Ceremony of the Binh Duong Integrated Administration Center, Chairman of Binh Duong People’s Committee has given Investment Certificate to BECAMEX TOKYU BUS Company, a subsidiary
of BECAMEX TOKYU Joint Venture (100% investment capital). This is the first public transportation project in Viet Nam with investment of Japan.

The Bus route, operating by BECAMEX TOKYU BUS is expected to be a new means of transportation with the target “ Safe, Comfortable, Punctual service”.

Tokyu Corporation will use their experience form Japan for developing Transportation Infrastructure at Viet Nam as well as Binh Duong. Thereby, it will contribute for decreasing of traffic congestion that is harder and harder
to solve. Moreover, this is a first large testing for step by step changing traffic culture in Viet Nam, which is shift from “private transportation to public transportation” as same as other developed countries.

On Thursday, 28th November, 2013 BECAMEX TOKYU officially launched leasing of two retail zones in Binh Duong New City at an event held today in Sofitel Saigon Plaza.

Zone A located in the centre of Binh Duong New City
Located in the centre of Binh Duong New City and nearby Integrated Political Administration Centre (IPAC), this zone comprises food courts, convenience
store, cafes and standalone restaurants that will serve for 3,000 people who working in the IPAC. Customers will be greeted by hospitality of Japan.

Retail zone for SORA gardens residents
This retail zone provides shopping space and an excellent convenience for the residents living in Sora Gardens.

Mr. Nakata Yasuyuki, General Director of BECAMEX TOKYU said: “Binh Duong New City development is a long-term project for 20~30 years. The two commercial Zones that were introduced on the event were scheduled for opening in 2014.

On July 1st 2013, BECAMEX TOKYU commenced the superstructure works “SORA gardens I” project in Binh Duong New City, Hoa Phu Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong Province.

“SORA gardens I” consists of about 400 units of 4 podium stories, tower A and B with 24 floors. After having completed, this project will be the center of commerce, services, and the most ultimate luxury apartments which is
built in accordance with Japanese quality with utilities including guest rooms, gym, swimming pool, sky garden … This project is expected to be completed in 2014.

“SORA gardens I” is one of three high-rise apartment buildings of “SORA gardens” project – the first project of “TOKYU BINH DUONG GARDEN CITY”. The ground breaking of SORA gardens I was conducted in November 2012.

April 19th 2013, BECAMEX TOKYU began selling officially (Phase I) of “SORA gardens” project on April 19th.

Besides beginning sales, BECAMEX TOKYU also opens their Sales Gallery. It was built next to the construction site of SORA gardens. In the Sales Gallery, customers can visit two model units in real-scale, and also plenty of
spaces makes customers feel “Japanese quality”, the idea of “Garden” or the ideas of development Binh Duong New City in the future through the models and movies. This apartment model’s type is very rarely found in Vietnam.

March 20th, 2012, has organized celebrations of 1st anniversary of the establishment of the company in Binh Duong New City in Binh Duong province. At this celebration, the continuation statement of Mr. Toshiyuki Hoshino,General
Director of Becamex Tokyu, was honored to receive congratulations from Mr. Le Thanh Cung, Chairman of Binh Duong Province and Mr. Harumitsu Hida, Consul General Japan in HCMC.

During the ceremony, along with the statement declared that begin selling the condominiums in the form of capital contribution contract CCA (Capital Contribution Contract) of “Sora gardens” the first residential project of
Becamex Tokyu, and signing ceremony of cooperation was held by Becamex Tokyu and 3 major banks in Viet Nam including Vietcombank, Vietinbank and Eximbank , they support housing loans for Sora gardens  .

21st November 2012, BECAMEX TOKYU celebrated Ground Breaking Ceremony for the first project of Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City – SORA gardens.

Tokyu applies their experiences, knowledge and technology on real estate development in Tokyo in many years, of which typical projects called “Tokyu Tama Den-en Toshi” to this new project in Binh Duong, Viet Nam. It provided
customers with exquisite design, comfortable living space, high quality residences. Beside that sky gardens and green walls expressed on the idea of “Garden”, the main idea of “TOKYU BINH DUONG GARDEN CITY”, which proposed
that “Japanese quality” as a trademark of Becamex Tokyu.

To the name of the project “SORA gardens “, besides the use of the concept of “Gardens”, the general idea of the whole project, “Sora” in Japanese means “sky” in accordance with high-rise apartments, thus expect that Vietnamese
customers will be attracted by the Japanese style.

Becamex Tokyu on November 14th 2013, clinched an agreement with CB Richard Ellis Vietnam (CBRE) to distribute the first condos of the Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City project in Binh Duong New City.

Under the agreement, CBRE will study the market and provide consulting services for the project and distribute the first about 400 apartments of the scheme.

Tokyu Corporation has signed a memorandum of understanding with Becamex IDC Corp. concerning the development of a public transport system focused on the operation of bus services for the country’s Binh Duong Province as well
as between Binh Duong Province and southern areas of Vietnam. Binh Duong Province is located at the center of the key economic zone in the south of Vietnam. With average annual GDP growth rates of 14 to 15%, the area has
achieved rapid growth far exceeding the average for the country. The province already has a population of 1.6 million while the key economic zone in the south of Vietnam, including this province, has a population of more
than 24 million people, but the still fragile state of the existing public transport infrastructure represents a challenge. Now, as one measure to counter this challenge, the Company and the Tokyu Group in Japan together
with Becamex IDC Corp., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the province, are proceeding with a survey and planning proposal for a public transport system focused on operating bus services in the province and surrounding
areas by utilizing the urban planning know-how, including public transport infrastructure, cultivated over many years at the Tokyu Tama Den-en Toshi area.

The following is an outline of the memorandum of understanding exchanged between Tokyu Corporation and Becamex IDC Corp.

1） Both parties will establish a review committee to proceed with a survey of the public transport system.

2） The review committee will survey the present situation of city transport in Binh Duong Province as well as courses of action for a master plan for Binh Duong Province. The committee will draft a plan for public transport
based on expected demand for public transport and migration forecasts for Binh Duong Province and surrounding areas.

3） The committee will exchange opinions with all concerned government agencies to collect the information needed for the survey.

By collaborating on this survey, the province will play a central role in the transport system in the southern region of Vietnam and will also contribute to raising the value of Binh Duong New City which is located at the heart
of the province

2nd March 2012, at Binh Duong industrial, service and residential complex (Binh Duong New City), BECAMEX TOKYU celerated the ground breaking ceremony of Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City project. At the groundbreaking ceremony,
Chairman Le Thanh Cung handed over an investment certificate to BECAMEX TOKYU.

Mr. Le Thanh Cung said “The ground breaking ceremony of Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City marks Binh Duong province’s a big step in attracting foreign investment capital in order to develop rapidly and sustainably the provincial
economy and enhance local residents’ living quality. The above project contributed to push up the urbanization process of Binh Duong province and the construction process of Binh Duong New City, which is considered as a
launching base promoting Binh Duong province to be the city directly under central government in 2020.”

BECAMEX TOKYU has also obtained financial support from the Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ and Mizuho Corporate Bank, to carry out this project.

27th February 2013, Tokyu Corporation decided to establish with Becamex IDC Corp. a joint venture company that will carry out real estate development as part of its initiatives to develop a town in Binh Duong New City.
The joint venture company’s name is BECAMEX TOKYU CO., LTD. And established on March 01st 2012. Capital is 18,600 billion Vietnamese dong (approximately 32.7 billion
yen).

Tokyu Corporation has a long and successful track record in the real estate market in Japan with one of its key project, “Tokyu Tama Den-en Toshi”. By using the know-how acquired through urban real estate development in Japan,
and the network strength of the Tokyu Group, BECAMEX TOKYU will carry out one of the largest urban developments in Vietnam, and be the first Japanese company to offer its expertise to the Vietnamese people. BECAMEX TOKYU
will develop “Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City”, which is located in Binh Duong New City, about 30 km to the north from Ho Chi Minh City, where IPAC of  Binh Duong Province will be relocated next year. The overall project
“Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City” approximately 110 ha (land areas is 71 ha). Upon completion Tokyu Binh Duong Garden City will provide more than 7,500 houses, along with commercial and service facilities.

BECAMEX TOKYU will develop project with a wonderfully convenient and comfortable life style-where work, family, leisure and education combine, to create a world of harmony and opportunity.

Tokyu Corporation concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Becamex IDC Corp. on October 27th, 2011, and has examined businesses related to urban development in Binh Duong Province and other areas in Vietnam.

The main points of the MOU are as follows:

1. The two companies will set up a research and development team to consider potential projects.
2.  Becamex IDC Corp. will provide information on development proposals in Binh Duong Province and other provinces, and make efforts to obtain government cooperation.
3. Tokyu Corporation will make efforts to provide knowledge in respect of project management, operation and development, including inviting partners.

On the occasion of the leaders of  Becamex IDC Corp. visiting Japan for participating Southern Vietnam – Binh Duong Province investment promotion seminar in June 2011, they went to Tokyu Tama Denen City. The leaders of
BECAMEX IDC showed a strong interest in “urban development” of Tokyu Corporation. Tokyu Corporation is one of Japan’s leading urban development groups. On over its 90-year history, besides developing urban and trading property,
Tokyu also has conducted many projects such as bus and railway systems, retail, ect… Management team of Tokyu Corporation also visited Binh Duong province in June and July to study on business in Vietnam.
