In May 2016, BECAMEX TOKYU started a trial of planting sunflowers nearby SORA gardens. It becomes the first planting trial in Binh Duong New City. Around this January, when sunflowers were prosperously blooming, many residents of SORA gardens and local young people visited the sunflower garden for photo-taking. On 15th February, seeds were harvested from withered sunflowers. BECAMEX TOKYU will keep thinking projects included planting sunflowers for bringing more beautiful landscapes to this new city.
On January 29, the Dai Nam racecourse started at the Dai Nam Park of Binh Duong. The racecourse has 60 hectares area. The horseracing course has 1.5 kilometres disrance. The racecourse organises horse racing, dog racing, pro-kart racing, jet-ski racing and fly-board performances. In the first phase of construction, the grandstand have the capacity of 20,000 seats, in the next phases; the capacity will be upgraded to up to 60.000 seats. On 14th & 15th January 2017, JAPANESE FESTIVAL – TOKYU GROUP at Binh Duong New City was held in hikari.
